Meet Holly, a valuable contributor at Little Bumble and someone who is dedicated to spreading the word about reducing food and plastic waste in the home.
Â
How long have you been working at Little Bumble and what is your background?Â
I became a worker bee at Little Bumble in October 2020.
My background is in retail customer service and call centre work.
Â
What do you love most about living and working in Gippsland, Victoria?
I love being close to family and a convenient and easy travelling distance to popular destinations.
Â
Tell us something about you that your fellow worker-bees wouldn’t know?
I tell my fellow worker bees everything! I’m terrible as keeping secrets.
Â
If you could change one thing in the world right now, what would it be?
The uncertainty that COVID has brought into everything in our day to day lives.
Â
What inspires you to come to work every day?
The workplace culture at Little Bumble and flexibility it allows.
Â
Do you believe, as a nation, we can win the war on food and plastic waste?
I hope so, I think it’s a long battle but I love seeing the innovative replacement products available, especially Little Bumble’s range!
Â
Many Little Bumble products are handmade at Hive Quarters – what product do you love creating and why?
Wraps! I love playing with all the different colours and patterns. Custom orders are especially fun to create.
Â
What is your favourite Little Bumble product you use at home, and do you have any tips or hacks for its use?
I use our smaller wraps and baking mats the most.
I recently discovered a trick from Grace (former worker bee), which is to use our stainless steel pegs to wrap foods in baking mats for roasting.
